Fossil Cottage is a unique small cottage right by the seashore on the Isle of Skye, one of the world's favourite islands. Comfort, character and charm in abundance, built from local stone with ancient embedded fossils, this special place has a very peaceful and soothing atmosphere. Escape the city stress! The house is directly above the seashore with views to the Island of Scalpay across Loch na Cairidh, the Old man of Storr and to the mountains of the mainland and the wall to ceiling windows highlight the beautiful views

On the North Coast 500 route, this property offers an ideal location for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Melvich boasts a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
