Hemlock Camp

We call it... “Camping”. It’s this new thing - where you leave the machinations of the urban world behind and retreat to the calming surrounds of nature. (To some extent. But you still get to sleep in a comfy bed.) 1/4 mile trek. A footbridge over a winding stream, a fire-pit, a hammock, Adirondack chairs and a quiet world beneath the hemlocks will be your immediate surroundings. No electricity. No running water. You are alone - surrounded by hundreds of acres of private, wild forest.

At the edge of a wildflower meadow with mountain views, this beautifully furnished glamping tent has two queen beds, front porch and private rear deck. Each of our four tents has a kitchenette in the Lodge. Sweet new Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights) and our new all natural wood hot tub (booked for private experience for $25) . 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Riverside screen house

Screenhouse on the side of the West Canada Creek. Please note this is a 1000 foot walk from your vehicle unless you have a 4wd or all wheel drive vehicle. Site includes a 10 ft by 10 ft screenhouse, picnic table, and outhouse, fire pit, 2 chairs, but no bed. Have 115 acres of farm to explore along the creek, swim in the creek, bring your kayak, tube down the river, or fish for trout in the creek. Please note the river can get busy in the summer on weekends with tubers.

Escape to Lonetree Glamping at Schroon River Campsites! Our beautiful tents offer a comfortable retreat with two queen-size beds. Cozy up by your fire pit, cool off in the nearby pool, or enjoy the tranquil Schroon River just steps from your tent. Convenient bathrooms, showers and laundry are also within walking distance. Bring your kayaks, canoes or tubes and launch into the river for a roughly hour long ride downstream, never leaving the property!

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. We offer four beautiful tent sites all with fire pits and ample wood available. Sites are all in close proximity to a rustic toilet with a household toilet. No need to “rough it” too much!!! All four sites sit in a wooded area next to a very serene stream where you can can just sit and relax. Enjoy!!
