Cozy Country Guest House

This is a completely furnished living space that is part of my shop. It is quite country living just 12 miles from Emporia. Amenities included: 1 bedroom with king bed, and dresser space. Two loveseat sofas in living room that fold out into single beds. Roku smart TV. WIFI. Completely stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer. Covered Porch with gas grill, pellet smoker and fire pit. Kayaks, paddle boat, fishing gear, disc golf baskets, corn hole boards, and basketball goal. Stocked pond with dock.

The front porch overlooks a farm field and timber. Walk our trails and skip rocks in Hill Creek. Enjoy the fire pit. Or jump on the Flint Hills Nature Trail - one of the longest rail trails in the US and a favorite for hiking and biking.

Secluded Lakefront Kayaks Council Grove City Lake

On the water and nestled in the trees, its a great location for a private get away. The main level features two queen bedrooms, a TV room, bath, kitchen and lakeview room overlooking the large, gently sloping yard and lake. Additional sleeping with futons in the TV room and lakeview room. Enjoy brick-paved patio with colorful adirondaks around fire pit, a hammock, horseshoes, ping pong, charcoal grill and picnic table. You have the use of fishing poles, 2 kayaks and a canoe with life vests

Hunter’s Retreat

Located approximately 30 miles from 4 wildlife refuge areas, John Redmond, Melvern, Council Grove, and Lyon County State Lake. 20 miles from Emporia and 35 miles from Topeka. 3 miles from the Flint Hills hiking and biking trail. Located 5 miles from the Kansas turnpike Hwy 56 exit. Security camera located on the utility pole south of the house.

The BUNKER. The safest place to stay

Located in downtown Emporia's Art and Entertainment District where many major events are held. With-in walking distance of the Granada Theater and ESU. Ample free parking. Spacious accommodations are sure to please. This space is located in the lower level of a commercial office building that has recently been re-purposed as a guest friendly temp-stay unit with kitchenette. No need to worry when storms rumble through. Don't miss staying in "The Bunker" The safest place to stay.

For the explorers, there are plenty of gravel roads to bike, kayaks available for the pond, and flora and fauna to find. ***Please note*** This is a dry cabin-meaning there are no water facilities inside, but there is an exterior entrance to a bathroom/shower off the main house that is available 24/7.

Koch Guesthouse

This spacious cabin sits on a small farm in Osage City, Kansas. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay: loft bedroom with a queen bed, queen size bed on ground floor and a twin bed on ground floor. The cabin also has an open kitchen, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, surround-sound stereo and a TV (Netflix and YouTube available). You’ll have the entire place to yourselves. Be mindful that we often have cattle in the surrounding pasture.

"Not just an overnight stop-off on I-70 crossing the plains" This is a unique ranch stay. Step back to the mid-century timeframe, south of Topeka, 3 bedrooms, full kitchen/2 baths. This is an original cowboy bunkhouse serving travelers in an old-west setting. We invite anyone who is "cowboy curious" for a ranch stay, ask questions!- We love to discuss "the cowboy way". BTW, high speed internet so you won't miss favorite streaming TV.

Konza Cabin

A unique lodging and agricultural experience located in the Flint Hills. Enjoy 100 acres of farm life by viewing the cows and our ranch operations, feed the horses, hike the hills, sit by the pond and enjoy the wildlife year round. The Konza Cabin was featured on the FYI Network series, "You Can't Turn That Into A House", 2 grain bins were made into a unique space, with glass walls connecting the grain bins - feeling one with nature.
