The Acorn Guest House

The Acorn Guest House is a two-level, self-contained accommodation located 2 minutes from the ferry landing in Balfour, BC and only 30 minutes from Nelson. Features include a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 ½ baths, a washer and dryer, patio and balcony, fire pit, and plenty of free parking with room for RV's or Trailers. Our Guests appreciate "The Acorn" for its close proximity to Balfour, Ainsworth Hot Springs, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, and the beautiful Balfour Golf Course.

Come and enjoy a fresh, spacious, immaculate haven in beautiful Kaslo, BC. Our suite overlooks the beautiful Purcell mountain range and is surrounded by forest. We are located in upper Kaslo, a short walk to trails along the river and a 15 minute walk to the village and the lake (or a 30 second drive! ) This cottage is a place to relax, take in the mountain air, and explore what Kaslo has to offer. Pet Friendly! There is a suite downstairs that is also a nightly rental.

Kick back and relax in this 1000sq ft renovated suite on the Kootenay Lake featuring breathtaking views everywhere you look, it's truly is Paradise:) 1/2 an acre of water front featuring cliffs, swimming, beach and sitting areas. Conveniently located between Nelson (45 mins S), Balfour (15 mins S)Kaslo (15 mins N) World renowned Ainsworth Hot-spring is walking distance (across the road) which are known for their awesome caves.

Situated on Kootenay lake, our suites provide travelers with a choice between two unique and beautiful accommodations. Both suites are spacious and feature incredible lake and mountain views, private decks, fully equipped kitchens, and private access to a secluded beach. NOTE: We are separate from the resort, please go to the resort website for rates and times. Pet friendly ($20 pet fee per stay charged separately)

Cedar Cottage - A private, natural experience

The Cedar Cottage is a 1 bedroom, cozy and romantic cottage with all the needed amenities. Numerous windows allow ample light in with the feeling of being nestled in the trees. A covered garage is provided for guests to park. Beautiful deck nestled in the cedars with glimpses of the Purcell Mountain range and Kootenay Lake. Access world class mountain bike trails or walk the river trail right from the Cedar Cottage.

Welcome to our 'Hametli' suite in the quiet cedar forest. Only 3 minutes by car to the lake and other amenities in the beautiful Town of Kaslo. Ainsworth Hot springs is a 15 min drive away or just check out one of the many things to explore in 'little Switzerland'. Our trails around and outside town are endless.
