The Old Post Office

This apartmment is well maintained and renovated, It is located on the first floor of Alexandra's original Post office building. Located in the centre of Alexandra close to shops, cafes and bars with views of Central Otago's unique landscape, mountains and ever changing skies. Moments away from abundant walking and cycling trails including Central Otago Rail Trail, Roxburgh Gorge and River Tracks. Nearby the Clutha and Manuherikia rivers offer boating, fishing, swimming and even gold panning.

Great for couples - central location and close to all our famous bike trails, restaurants and cafes - Private, stylish and comfortable. Has own private access, is quiet and cosy. Central Otago is famous for wineries, orchards and magnificent scenery. Grab a bottle of wine and picnic by the river or take advantage of the many day/multi day bike trails. It should be noted that we do not have a full kitchen, but provide a kitchenette with a microwave, sink and small fridge for your convenience

Elevated above the Manuherikia river with dramatic schist rock faces and river views, our spacious,and warm ground floor apartment is nestled next to the Central Otago Rail Trail, Matangi Station Mountain Bike Park, and walking tracks. Cafes and restaurants are a few minutes walk along the scenic river track passing the historic shaky bridge. The river track is accessed from our property. It is a 30min drive to Highlands Motorsport Park, and one hour to both Queenstown and Wanaka.

Our cosy cottage is nestled amongst the vines at the home of Wild Irishman Vineyard. It offers 2 spacious bdrms w Queen beds & w/robes. Situated only 4mins drive to both Clyde & Alexandra, you're just moments to the Central Otago Rail Trail & Lake Dunstan trail among others. After cycling & exploring this wonderful region, take a swim in the shallows of the Clutha River (access at the bottom of our site) or relax in the sun on your own balcony. Your well behaved dog is welcome too!

Rustic country style accommodation set in a rural setting, private and not shared 2 mins drive to historic Clyde township, hours drive to Queenstown/ Wanaka. Close to the Central Otago rail trail, river track, vineyards, orchards 2 bedrooms- 1 double bed, 1 single beds, and 2 single beds + 1 double bed in lounge area, Toilet, shower and 1 bedroom access through external entrances only. Cosy and Convenient

A private apartment with its own entrance attached to the main house. Private parking space and secure storage for bicycles, if needed. The apartment has a relaxing area with wifi, television including Netflix attached to a kitchenette with crockery, utensils, toaster, fridge and a microwave for heating pre-prepared food. There are no cooking facilities. A separate sleeping area contains a comfortable queen sized bed and ensuite. A friendly cat lives in the main house.

We have a fully functioning kitchen, an underfloor heated tiled bathroom, with full bath to ease those aching muscles after a long ride on the local Rail Trails. Two super comfy Super King beds.

The cozy cabin is perfect for two with a comfy queen bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Located 5 min from Alexandra and the famous Otago Rail Trail, 10 min from Clyde and just over an hour from all the attractions of Queenstown, Wanaka and the ski fields. If you are travelling by bike and need transport this can be arranged.

We have set this house up so that it really is home away from home. Quality linen (sheets/towels/duvets), new lounge suite, snuggly throws & essentials such as nespresso coffee machine. Guests are welcome to use anything which is in the pantry.
