John Jensen, a Danish engineer / bricklayer designed our wonderful castle with his family in the 70's. We've modernized and renovated the entire building to make it as comfortable as possible. Our Cozy Cabin features a fire pit, front and back decks, large yard and provided parking.

At Hillwinds House, it’s all about taking a moment to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with nature. Build a fire, read a book, brew some coffee, sweat in the sauna, soak in the hot tub (April-October), prepare a nourishing meal, and watch the sun set over the valley in the west. We are excited to share our Alberta landscape with its beautiful sky, empty fields, and close up nature details. The 5 acres are filled with wildflowers, look closely and take a moment to enjoy.

Nice open concept cabin with amazing views! Great home with everything you need for a getaway. We have a beautiful outdoor space for playing games, fire pit, deck that wraps around 3 sides of cabin. BBQ, outdoor seating. For cool or too hot days, we have a projector screen with DVD player and Xbox, ping pong table, air hockey and lots of games. Just a short walk to the beach, Snak Shack for treats, disc golf course (frisbee golf), tennis/pickle ball courts, brand new playground.
