It is situated in a field overlooking 45 acres of vineyards, 4 miles outside of Plymouth, CA, on Highway 49, between Placerville and Jackson. The exposed beams and wood floors of this charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, make the framework for a perfect creative get-a-way.

The perfect place to getaway or to “work at home” away from home in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, minutes away from Jackson and Sutter Creek. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley in your own 1150 sq. foot 2-bedroom guest house complete with a full kitchen, living room with a wood stove fireplace, smart TV, WiFi, desk, private bath and deck with a grill. Relax by the private pool during the summer months 10AM-7PM. You will be surrounded by nature, peace & quiet.

The Amador Farmhouse

The Farmhouse built in the late 1800’s offers three updated remodeled bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms/showers. Relax, enjoy and wash the city away in our lovely vintage claw tubs. Slip into the covers of your luxurious King and Queen size beds with fine linens. Enjoy a cozy pull out couch in the living room. Wrap around porch offers stunning vineyard/sunset views. Beautiful hiking weather just around the corner in the Sierra. Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 from Tahoe)

Relax and Unwind in Wine Country! Your home-away-from-home is just steps away from OldHwy49 shops, restaurants and wine tasting. Tour over 40 Amador County wineries, historic sites, lakes and trails nearby. Then come home to your old fashioned front porch, relaxing back patio, and large kitchen to enjoy cooking together. I’m sorry but we cannot accommodate work crews due to our rental policies. I wish we had a second house on Airbnb that was tough as a bunkhouse so we could!

This is a cute second story guesthouse. Its’s very private, located on our 83+ acre vineyard/ranch. We have a 6 acre working vineyard and commercially growing Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Muscat Canelli The guesthouse has recently been up-dated and is light, airy with many up-scale features and amenities. It’s a very private setting with no immediate neighbors. There are approximately 140 wineries within a 25 mile radius of our place.
