The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Cook a delicious meal and relax in comfort after exploring the island. 5 minute drive or easy bike ride to swim in the lakes or sea, or hike trails in multiple coastal preserves.

For the rainy days, stay warm with the deep couch, wood stove, and extra blankets.

Our Private Suite is situated in Tacoma's Fernhill neighborhood, about 15 min drive to Downtown Tacoma. The suite entrance has a kitchenette, refrigerator , microwave, coffee maker,complimentary coffee. This room acts as a secondary bedroom and has a twin size bed. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and a rollaway twin bed, HD Roku TV, big closets, and a desk. Private entrance, Street parking. Non-smoking. Private Bathroom with complimentary toiletries.

The a-frame is cabin-vibes in spirit but more lake-cottage in practice, with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere on a paved residential street. Please note: the cabin is not secluded in the woods; there are neighbor homes in view.
