It is 9 miles to Madill and 13 to Ardmore, both of which have grocery stores and WalMarts although most of the restaurants are to be found in Ardmore. Stop on the way in and pick up your provisions, there is a full size fridge/freezer.

Trails go through the woods, by the creek and up a mountain to a valley overlook. This is a perfect retreat for nature lovers, not partiers. There is enough to do for a memorable vacation!
