The Glass Room and Wooden Caravan are perfect for people who love wilderness, and nature. It's for adventurous souls, who thrive on wide open spaces, warmth and a simpler way of life. There are views that will take your breath away, rocks to scramble over and lovely long walks and horse riding to be enjoyed. As with other tracts of wild Africa, we do have some dangerous animals around, including elephant, the odd lion, leopard and venomous snake, although it is not often that we see the latter.

Perched on a quiet bend of river, this beautiful log cabin is a perfect getaway. It is light, cosy and comfortable. There is a kingsize bed, a tea/reading corner, a workspace, a bath, a private veranda over looking the river where you can lounge and eat and prepare meals and an ensuite shower and toilet. With nothing but the river between you and the Lolldaiga game reserve you have all the comforts of home whilst elephants grumble and hyenas laugh not far away.

The Wonky House

The Wonky House is located 9 kilometres off the main road from Timau town in a secure and serene farming village overlooking Mt. Kenya. In front of the house is a small area perfect for camping. Timau is in close proximity to various wildlife conservancies and national parks such as Ol Pajeta, Lewa, Borana, Samburu National Park and Solio Ranch. It is a great place to escape from city life! It gets quite cold at night, don't forget to bring your cosy pyjamas.
