Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

We provide tea and coffee to help you feel at home, and some books and puzzles in case of rainy days. There are beautiful walks and cycles in the area, including Fife's picturesque fishing villages and the atmospheric Kellie Castle. Just a short drive to the historic town of St Andrews. One and a half hours from Edinburgh and the airport by car.

The Hay Shed - St Andrews

Located only 2 miles out of St Andrews, the Hay shed is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy sea views. It is positioned in the grounds of a large house with views over a field and then towards the sea. The Hay Shed offers a luxury glamping experience, think outside bath whilst watching the stars, cosy firepit and twinkling festoon lights. Perfect for a getaway for two people but also room for two kids in the mezzanine area (mattress provided but no bed linen for this bed). One dog allowed.

Fully contained garden to front, and private courtyard to rear, both ideally positioned to enjoy the morning and evening sun. Only a few minutes to the local beach, pub, shops & golf courses. We have lovingly converted a 200 year old cart shed into 2 cottages. Braeview Cottage at Braeside Farm is a spacious studio space with a king size bed on the mezzanine floor. Downstairs next to a modern kitchen you have an open area with large french doors to a patio with a great view across the brae. On a farm set in 13 acres and 500 m from the nearest road, you will savour the tranquillity yet it's a 10 to 15 min drive to St Andrews and an hour from Edinburgh Airport. A car is required.

5* quirky 17th century cottage in the heart of Pittenweem. Ama St Andrews, the home of golf is just 17 minutes away by car . Pittenweem boasts the last working fishing harbour in the East Neuk with it's famous 117 mile long coastal path passing right through the village . Dog friendly restaurants , cafes, pubs and art galleries all on our doorstep. Lovely long beaches in St Andrews and Elie only short drive away. The Fife 117 mile long coastal path goes past the bottom of our Wynd .

This 1830s charming cottage has a front and back garden with stunning sea views. It's a short wander to the beach. Enjoy the large fully enclosed gardens while looking at the sea. We have just completed new interiors, with 2 bedrooms both with king-sized beds (UK) and soft white sheets throughout. A Nespresso coffee machine, hardwood floors, mini barbecue, and local art on the walls allow you to indulge in a seaside cottage with the feel of a hotel. We have parking on site.

Perfect for a couple with a kid, or 2 friends ( the ladder to the mezzanine is a bit steep ) A wooden stove is there to warm up winter evenings. You will enjoy Crail and its surroundings, as we are in the heart of the village.
