Au Train Lake Guest House

It is a short drive to the Beach on Lake Superior and the AuTrain River. This is a great location for spending time on the lake, or as a home base for all of the local attractions this area has to offer. Within 20 minutes you are in Munising where you can do the Pictured Rocks cruise, Shipwreck Tour or Kayak tour and many more.

Lake Superior Cottage

This historic log cottage was originally built in the first part of the 1900’s as one of the early fishing camps of Shelter Bay. Over the years there have been numerous modern improvements, but much of the rustic charm, such as the large stone fireplace and the low ceilings and exposed rafters of the second story, remain…and the character does too. The shoreline is stones and boulders which make for lots of action and adds to the aesthetics that come from the sound of lapping waves.
