Enjoy the beautiful NY evenings and get away from it all with a campfire and tent under the stars. You’ll have a shower/toilet shed and campfire area to enjoy as well as the specious, 16’ tent and a gorgeous view! We are minutes from Sharon Springs and 25 minutes to Cooperstown. We have bedding, towels and blankets but bring your favorite pillows and water. Our goal is to provide you with all the necessities and a place to make memories. We live on the property but you’ll have complete privacy.

Cozy up in our 14’ glamping tipi at Black Bear Lodge — a dreamy mountain hideaway for couples or solo adventurers. Sleep under the stars in a comfy full-size bed with soft lighting and rustic charm. Coffee maker with assorted coffee/tea/flavored teas provided. Shared refrigerator/freezer. Unwind by the fire pit, grill dinner under the trees, and soak in epic views from our mountaintop observation deck. Bath houses nearby. WiFi available. AWD/4WD mandatory for the steep gravel road. Wake up and set off for an adventurous day of hiking or biking through the White Mountains, kayak or float the Pemigewasset River, spend it at one of the many attractions in the Lincoln/Woodstock area or just relax and read in the hammock surrounded by nature. In the evening walk or drive down the hill to downtown N. Woodstock to the many restaurants, breweries and shops for an enjoyable evening out!

Glamping Retro Unit 3 “The Jammer”

Reconnect with nature in this 1 bedroom luxury safari tent! The “Jammer” comes with a queen bed, bathroom with toilet and vanity, a kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, electric burner, sink, and coffee bar. You will also have full use of the luxurious bath house and pavilion. The “Jammer” is one of 9 total rental units on Glamping Retro property, which totals 16 acres. Glamping Retro sits on the TN/NC state line, and backs up to the Pisgah National Forest. The AT is 1.4 miles from us!

It’s located on the Pa side of the Delaware River. 8’ picnic table, fire pit with grill. Swim, wade or just sit by the river. Watch for duck, eagles going up and down the river. Morning & evening deer, turkey, fox & coyotes in the field. Bring your bike. Fly a kite! Take a walk along the river. A short drive away is Jensen Ledges, which is a spectacular hiking trip. Majestic private waterfront Tipi * on a lake. Quiet nature oasis with hot tub, woodstove, firepit, modern grill, and all the essentials. Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.

Welcome to our Tucked Away Tipi! Located in a secluded corner of the Pennsylvania woods on private ground. You will have exclusive use of the campsite, our Tipi hideaway is perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors, sleeping under the stars, without sacrificing the comforts of home. When you come up our lane, stop at our house and we will take you to the site. You can drive to it. Please read and understand all our rules before you visit.
