The property also has access to waterfront with a grand dock to swim and relax on. Bring your boat as you will have access to the private boat launch. 1 pet dog allowed.

Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock. Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is designed for couples or solo travellers.

At night, savor the lakeside propane fire pit, watch a movie on the projector from your plush bed, or gaze at the stars through the dome's large porthole. Located on the edge of Algonquin Park, our Hideaway is perfect for a quiet retreat or fun-filled vacation at the lake. The deep, clean, and wide open waters of Aylen Lake make it great for boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Free access to boat launch at the landing is available with trailer parking at the cottage.

Raven's Roost- private luxury treehouse with sauna

Unplug your tech and let the sights and sounds of the forest be your muse. Treat your body to the healing powers of a eucalyptus sauna. Cool down in the outdoor shower, stargaze, crack a book, play some Scrabble, colour or write. Sing with the wolves, skate through the forest, canoe, climb, swim, ski or snowmobile from your door to the OFSC trail. The quaint town of Dorset is in the center of one if Canada's most impressive landscapes. Escape. Exhale.

Waterfront cottage on Aylen Lake

Beautiful view with deck on the lake. Main floor is open concept kitchen (furnished), living and dining room. Full bath with shower. Master bedroom with queen. Wheelchair accessible. Second bedroom space upstairs with queen and single bed. Loft with 2 single beds. (see photos) Fully furnished cottage. (See "Booking, House Rules, Additional rules" for details.) Shared rowboat & canoe with life jackets are available. No pets.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

1800s Timber Trail Lodge

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style. First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
