Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Heatherbell is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking. In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. This is one of two glamping pods at Croftend Glamping.

Keepers Bothy

A beautifully converted 270 year old gamekeepers bothy set within the grounds of Ullinish House. Perfect space for couples looking to relax, explore and hike the Isle of Skye. Located 20 minutes from Portree and halfway between Dunvegan castle and the Fairy pools. The bothy is small (10sqm) but it has everything you need for your stay. This includes a shower room with toiletries, a sofa next to the wood burning stove and a mezzanine bed accessed by ladder. There are no cooking facilities.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Inside the house is beautifully furnished with ply and caithness slate throughout, underfloor heating and powerful wifi.

Relax at this beautiful and peaceful cottage. Loch Bracadale Cottage next door can also be found on Airbnb. The house has 2 bedrooms with sleeping for up to 4 persons. The master bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet is on the ground floor with a view over the Loch and a small double and a single upstairs. There is also another toilet downstairs. In view of the bed/bathroom facilities the house is perhaps best suited to either a couple/a couple with younger children.
