Big Cabin

Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It's a picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park. The local ferry can take you to see a bit more of the surrounding area, such as Vik, Voss and Flåm. Along side the mountain and forest trails, fishing and rowing activities found here. We expect guests to clean the cabin to the same standard they found it in or there is the option of cleaning for 500 NOK.

Koselig hytte i vakker natur

Ta deg en pause og slapp av i denne fredelige oasen. I denne koselige hytta bor du i vakre naturomgivelser. Elve-og fjellutsikt fra vinduet og på tarassen. Fine turer i nærheten, bla Vallestadfossen som ligger 500 meter unna. fjellturer er også rett i nærheten. Nedenfor hytta er det mulig å fiske ørret (små) i elva. Dette gratis. Nærmeste by er Førde som ligger 30 minutter unna. Haukedalsvatnet ligger ca 500 m unna hytten, der kan ein kjøpe fiskekort. Her er ein fin plass å finne roen.

The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Like utenfor døren finner man populære tur og sykkelstier. 6 min kjøring til Sogndal sentrum, 4 min unna ligger Kaupanger sentrum med dagligvare og ViteMeir senteret, kjekt for store og små! 2 min unna finner man baseng, lekeland og treningssenter.

A high standard cabin by the shoreline of the Aurlandsfjord, Western Norway. The area lies peacefully by the fjord, with its own parking lot and a quay with the opportunity for boat rental. The cabin has three bedrooms, a veranda facing the fjord, and is equipped with fiber-optical WiFi, TV with ASTRA international channels, shower, washing machine, dishwasher and a wood stove. Boat must be booked in advance of arrival.
