Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. Great scenery, climbing possibilities and hiking terrain. Large terraces, barbecue area and private beach. The fjord is also known for salmon fishing. 20 km. to Stetind, Norways national mountain. There will also be a small boat to use for short trips on the sea.

Surrounded by dramatic mountains and oceans, Andørja is the most mountaineous island of Northern Europe. Mighty peaks shoot straight up from the sea. Few places are the landscape more conspicious than at Laupstad, where our farmhouse lies just between the sandy beach and mountains. We welcome singles, couples and families of every nationality! Fishing trips is possible. The midnight sun is best experienced by boat after all.
