A backyard cottage and garden, it is located between Elston Park and Victoria Park, two beautiful leafy locations in the centre of town. Within walking distance to great cafes and restaurants, our regional gallery, the Western Plains Cultural Centre and the Dubbo Regional Theatre & Convention Centre. It’s also just a short 10 minute drive to the Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Caroo Cottage

The Caroo cottage is a well built shack that provides all the necessities that you'll need. From grabbing a cuppa to fishing down on the banks with the kids, it really reveals nature in the best way. From the sunrise to the sunset. Shower and toilet are external access only. It has access to wifi for all your technology needs. Pets are aloud but they are NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE COTTAGE OR BATHROOM!!! If you would like fishing rods please advise in a message. Enquire for early check in!

The Ponderosa Farm Stay

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. We have 120 aces of mainly farming land with horses , chickens , cats and dogs. If you like fishing then you are welcome to catch a few on the Macquarie river which is on the property. Our horses are all trotters who are all trained here on our track. The accommodation is fully fenced and we are pet friendly. We do prefer dogs to stay outside and are definitely not to be left unattended inside the tiny house.
