Our 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted into guest accommodation for 2 adults using repurposed materials to create a cosy, welcoming hideaway. Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

A lovely, recently renovated, self-contained annexe to our house, set in a picturesque, very peaceful, rural setting. The views south are magnificent. Own entrance, kitchen and bathroom (shower but no bath). A great location from which to see Belfast and the northern part of N. Ireland, including the Glens of Antrim and Giant's Causeway. Game of Thrones locations are not far, (we are 45 minutes drive from the Dark Hedges). In summer, Richard may be flying his hot air balloon!

We are an ideal base to sample excellent local cuisine, walk in the steps of Giants at the Causeway or follow the Game of Thrones trail. Approx 25 minutes from Belfast and 60 minutes from the beautiful North Coast and Glens, the Barn is an ideal base for relaxing after a busy day.

Hill Top Pod offers a peaceful stay in the heart of the countryside over looking the causeway coast which provides the most spectacular sun sets & sun rises. Sit back in our private covered hot tub sipping a drink and just taking it all in. The pod is situated in the grounds of Hill top house which is located on 2.8acres of land, with a horse & stables located on site.
