The Log Cabin

The Log Cabin is situated 3km from the village of Ballyvaughan. It is nestled under Cappawalla Mountain on a quiet, peaceful road with fabulous views of Ailwee Mountain. It is a one-bedroom cabin, with a sofa bed in the sitting room that can sleep up to 4 guests. The Log Cabin is an ideal base for exploring the Burren, Ailwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher as well as many other tourist attractions in the area. The Log Cabin is close to the Ballyvaughan Wood Loop walk for those who enjoy walking.

It is situated in Finavarra Demesne overlooking Finavarra House, the bay and the Burren Mountains. The Flaggy Shore is only 1.2km walking distance and Linnane's Lobster Bar is 1.5km drive. It is located a stones throw from the lovely old fishing village of ballyvaughan, that was once the heart of Clare and is now part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. The Blue Yard

The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

With stunning views of Galway Bay, this luxurious ensuite studio is tucked away on a very private and beautifully landscaped acre lot. A three-minute walk down our road takes you to the waterfront. A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The chalet is nestled at the foot of Oughtmama Mountain amongst ash, hazel, and whitethorn trees. It's the perfect location for walking on the Burren pavement, caving, rock climbing, foraging on the shore, or swimming in the Atlantic. You can enjoy a delicious meal and a pint in one of the many great pubs or restaurants in the area, or you can shop in one of the local farmer's markets and cook up a storm in the chalet.
