Just off the highway, it's minutes from the Cuyahoga Valley Nat'l Park, Pro Footbal Hall o Fame and centrally located to all Akron events. Cleveland is just 30+ minutes for sports events or the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Central to everything, yet on a quiet dead-end street that's convenient to the highway. Dog Friendly- $15 /day per dog

Lakefront 2 Bedroom Fenced Yard

This lake house sits on a quiet no outlet street in Portage Lakes. Fully fenced in large backyard with a deck to enjoy the views. Large fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, incl. new HE washer and dryer. One bedroom has a queen bed facing the lake and the other has a double/twin bunk bed. Private parking in the driveway; electronic keypad entry on the side door. This home feels secluded but still only a 10 minute drive to downtown Akron and 40 minute drive to downtown Cleveland.

Handcrafted accents throughout made by owner provide a custom experience in a home built in 1898. Full kitchen, laundry room, 1 full bathroom. Located in residential, urban area on main road w/ train nearby. NOT a quiet suburban or woodsy area. We host the home, not the neighborhood. Real people live there and we’re just trying to make travel affordable. Stores nearby!

Being 5 minutes from Downtown Akron, 35 minutes from Downtown Cleveland, and 10 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, there is a lot of nightlife, hiking and biking in the area. The JoKo Cottage

Welcome to our cozy little cottage built in the early 1930’s by a then well-known artist, Joe Koch (JoKo was his artist name). Joe designed and built the cottage and is full of his unique style. It was featured in 1950 in The Akron Beacon Journal with lots of pictures! All of the wormy chestnut wood (wood with holes in it) is original to the cottage. Even the tile by the fireplace is original. In this place many beautiful things were created. We hope you find beauty here too!
