Tasman West - on the beach!

Our home is 'on the beach' and is situated midway between Greymouth and Punakaiki. We offer a self contained unit on the ground floor of our home. The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.

Our secluded hideaway cabins are the perfect retreat for those seeking solace and adventure on the Westcoast. Large covered deck with gas BBQ, and amazing sea views. Fully self-contained kitchen with an electric oven, an electric cooktop, a microwave, washing machine and a half fridge. Gas fireplace which easily and quickly warms the whole house. Featuring super king spilt beds in both bedrooms, so can be set up as 2 super king beds, or 4 single beds, or any combination on request.

Magical beach house meters from the beach, 3 elegant bedrooms, spacious character-filled lounge and modern kitchen/dining area all designed with larger families or couples travelling together. Walk south along the beach to the Punakaiki lagoon or just- 450m from Pancake Rocks. A special place to stay awhile.

Sunny private retreat with stunning coastal views . Look out to the waves from your bed with a deserted beach at the end of the driveway. Explore the local area beaches, surfing , river, seal colony and the Cape Foulwind walkway all within 2km . Good cell phone reception and wireless internet. The Cottage is very private, brand new and 50m from the main house. Full kitchen facilities with dishwasher and deck with BBQ and outside fire brazier. Smart TV with Netflix for lazy days.

The Nest is a stand alone self contained unit with outdoor bath/shower, close to but separate from the main house. Set on 15 acres of private land, Hurunui Jacks has the Nest and a glamping tent nestled in beautiful West Coast native bush. A small private lake, historic water race & the Kaniere River are on your doorstep.

Mamaku Hideaway - with outdoor bath

Nestled in native bush, Mamaku Hideaway is a private one-bedroom tiny home for two. Relax with full kitchen, bathroom, and a large covered deck. Cozy up around the fire pit and make some s’mores. With a secluded outdoor bath surrounded by bush views, and private short walking tracks through ferns right on your doorstep.
