The picturesque village of Caherdaniel is 2½ miles away offering a popular pub, restaurant, shops, cafes and a local farmer’s market. A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

Set on a quiet country lane 1km from Eyeries and 7km from Castletownbere on the Beara peninsula, West Cork. Hot water/heating & Electric is charged extra, payable on departure. Normal usage costs about €15-30 per week (usage is metered, guests responsible for turning on/off) free WiFi, free to air TV. Parking for 1 car.

This traditional farmhouse features a large garden and is situated on a quiet road in the heart of the small island. A road to the shore is just 1km away, while stunning cliffs for walkers are about 2km off. Portmagee and Knights Town are just a 4-minute drive. The monastic Skellig Island (a Star Wars filming location) is a quick boat ride from Portmagee. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs during your stay. 🐕

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.

The house is open plan downstairs consisting of a kitchen, sitting area and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is bedroom and a small bathroom. The space is very bright and airy. There is a back yard . There is a good internet service within the house. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to self cater. It is a five minute walk to the main street, sea walk and public transport services.
