The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

Mountain Style Piedmont Retreat, near HP, WS & GSO

Our Pool House/Guest House is a quiet retreat in a hidden wood. It is a lofty space with two sleeping areas open to living and kitchen. There are three entrances with private parking. Two full baths give weight to the distinct sleeping areas. A queen bed, large closet, and laundry under the oak beam supported loft. Spiral stairs lead up to a pair of double beds, full bath, and separate bridgewalk entrance. A full kitchen and laundry make the cottage suitable for longer stays.

Please when booking with us keep inconsideration that this is an older country home 🏡 that we’ve fixed up alittle but not perfect, built in 1940’s. With that being said you can enjoy our small community from Belews Lake and Hanging Rock State Park 30 minutes away . We offer downtown shopping and tubing as well . Greensboro and Winston Salem are 30 minutes away. We have plenty of space for bringing your boats / jet skis for parking to our nearest belews Lake 14 minutes away
