This space is a small, clean, beautiful studio, with private entrance, restroom, and kitchen right on Fire Lake. The suite offers a stunning lake view right from your window! The unit is attached to main house. However it is completely separate and on the other side of a garage. We are located just outside Anchorage on Fire Lake with lake access and year round activities including boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

Kayak or paddleboard, chill around the propane fire pit or cuddle up inside with the woodstove (supplemental, cabin has a forced air furnace!) 2 bedrooms, small room has a King bed, larger room has 2 Queen beds. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Canoe Cabin is a little (but not far) off the beaten path. You will enjoy four magical acres. Canoe Cabin is more than a cabin; it has three bedrooms, all featuring queen beds and special custom features throughout. You will have the amenities to feel connected: wifi, etc., but... you will truly feel away from the hustle. The lake has access to the large lakes, but is a quiet, no wake zone. Grill and Hot Tub with amazing views!

Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.
