As you arrive at our little cabin… get ready to open that front door and start your getaway! The main floor bedroom has a queen size bed, the upstairs bedroom has twin beds. Full bath down, a 3/4 up. You’ll find an upstairs work area with a desk, overlooking the river. The cabin includes all you need for cooking, sleeping, and relaxing. TV, WiFi, and board games for all ages. The screened in porch will captivate your evenings…you’ll be mesmerized by the view and sound of that McKenzie River.

Mckenzie River Getaway - Modern Rustic UPPER CABIN

Located in the heart of McKenzie River recreation area. Private & tranquil riverfront cabin. This is the UPPER level cabin (private w/no shared connections) Vaulted living space w/woodstove & amazing river views from inside or the private upper deck outside. One comfy bedroom + cozy sleeping loft (w/2 twins) accessed by pullout ladder & another sofa bed in the Living Space. Just steps to the river. The Lower downstairs cabin is also available separately for larger groups. Only a mile to Tokatee.

Koosah Cabin near Tokatee, Hot Springs, & Trails

Private, and tucked away from the crowds, quiet, comfortable cabin in the woods, our Koosah Cabin is the perfect base camp for 2 to 3 people as you explore all the McKenzie River has to offer. Our property is nestled in the woods, just far enough off the highway that all you can hear is the sound of gentle rushing water. Koosah is almost identical to Tamolitch Cabin. We welcome people from all backgrounds and hope to share with you our love of the outdoors and our beautiful place in the woods!

After an exhilarating day of hiking, biking, golfing, rafting or exploring the nearby waterfalls and hot springs, unwind on the deck. Enjoy a cocktail while listening to the rapids and watching the water shimmer in the afternoon sun. Alternatively, relax with a good book, keeping your feet up and scanning the bank for Mergansers feeding or a bald eagle perched on a tree top, searching for prey. The McKenzie offers an incredible blend of recreation and nature, catering to everyone’s interests!

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.
