Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

16th century cosy stone cottage with large private garden, includes lounge, kitchen and separate dining room. Pretty sun room ideal for morning coffees. Two bedrooms, one twin, and one king size. Shower and toilet upstairs. Bed settee is in the dining room. Will easily sleep 6 but seating is limited in the lounge. The main bath and shower room is downstairs. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.

A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines.

With the popular wedding venue (Peak Edge Hotel ) within walking distance and the beautiful market towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Chesterfield (with its famous crooked spire) close by you can easily explore the Peak District from here. The Snug is a modern barn conversion with a luxurious interior, designed to make it feel like a home away from home.
