Curlew Cottage, a Grade 2 listed south facing cottage dating from around 1790 in the small village of West Bretton. An easy walk to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park & a short drive or bus trip to The Hepworth in Wakefield. The National Mining Museum & Cannon Hall Farm are nearby, Peak District National Park, Leeds, York, Sheffield also within easy reach. Just 1 or 2 miles from M1 Junction 38 & 39. Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.
