Jonkmanshof @20 Bath - Suite 1

Jonkmanshof is a beautifully-restored Cape Dutch heritage house built in 1854 in the small, picturesque town of Montagu. It is the oldest inhabited house in the town. Jonkmanshof - 20 Bath was recently featured by Condé Nast Traveller as the coolest farmhouse to rent in South Africa and is also featured in the Elle Decoration, France. Elgin Country Lodge has 5 bedrooms and is situated just off the N2 within walking distance of the Peregrine Farm Stall. It is a restored old farmhouse on a working apple farm in the well known fruit farming district of Elgin. We are 3km from Grabouw and the popular Railway Market and close to hiking and bike trails , wine farms and local markets. Golf courses at Hermanus , Kleinmond and Arabella are only 30 minutes by car. Cape Canopy Tours zipline a short drive away.

The Lindeman room is named after one of Lady Kenmare's husbands from the famous Australian Lindeman fame. The room is tastefully decorated and you will be spoiled with the best quality Egyptian cotton bed linen. The second bed is a double and situated on a mezzanine floor. It is only for the use of children age 6 to 16 yrs old.

Classic Family Rooms

The Classic Family Rooms are spacious, stylish and exceptionally comfortable. The rooms and en suite bathrooms have all been renovated (completed September 2019). We have two Family Rooms, Room 1 (ground floor) can accommodate an extra single bed and Room 17 (first floor) has a sofa bed. Unfortunately we cannot accomodate children younger than 6 years of age.

South Hill Vineyards - Villa (6 Bedroom)

The South Hill Villa opens up to a generously appointed communal open plan living/ dining area with comfortable lounge seating & DSTV, fully equipped kitchen and indoor fireplace for the chillier months. The Villa consists of 6king size bed en-suite rooms sleeping a total of 12 adults (and 4 additional children beds if required at additional cost).
