This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, wireless internet, and a large TV with free Netflix. We also offer authentic italian dinners and sides for purchase. The Barn is one of 4 rentals offered by Green Pastures Getaways. This is a barn that has been converted to a wonderful guest house. Beautiful hardwood floors, bamboo countertops, stainless appliances, tiled shower with rainfall shower, stone sinks and much more. The Barn has a full kitchen. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!

Our property sits on the crest in historic Bluff Park. We have 2 entrances leading to the main house and cottage. The cottage is an A-frame structure with a charming interior. There is a living room on the first floor and a cozy sitting area on the second floor. The kitchen has an under the counter fridge, cooktop, & microwave. With its warm western style - you will feel like you've been transported to the mountains.
