On Jackson Lake, 1 hr from Atlanta, our cottage with private dock (with kayaks-two adult and one child size) is the perfect spot to unwind. With photo-ready furnishings, white cotton and linen bedding, and subtle antique decor, our cottage exudes a warm vibe that will make you feel right at home. Please, no wild parties or drug use. Our neighbors don't deserve to hear or smell any nonsense. Thank you!

Relax & take it easy at this newly remodeled and tranquil retreat. Enjoy the peace of being in the country right on a 17 acre pond stocked with bass, crappie, bluegill & catfish. Yet just 15 minutes from everything you could need. Fish all day, sleep in, create happy memories at the fire pit, enjoy the treehouse OR go out & explore the great many things to see & do in this area! Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.
