Relax at our all-season, family- and pet-friendly Kawartha Lakehouse on an eastern-exposure waterfront with stunning views of Buckhorn Lake. Enjoy air conditioning during your stay. The screened-in dining room and dock provide a perfect space to unwind, rain/shine. The lakehouse features a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, with fresh linens on all beds. A canoe and two kayaks are incl. While there's a clean, shallow sandy beach for wading, swimming is not possible off the dock due to weeds.

The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). There is no wifi but cellular reception is good depending on your provider. There is an outhouse with compost toilet near the bunkie. There is no shower or sink. Enjoy the country and let nature do that talking! Pets are very welcome! Enjoy the trails and walk your dog(s) off leash.
