Field End Contemporary rural barn

A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

The Field Shelter

The Field Shelter is located on a working farm in the heart of the Cotswolds. Nestled amongst trees behind the yard you can sit and enjoy the a stunning view of the rolling fields, and if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of the deer. In the summer you can enjoy watching horses and tractors in the fields below. There is an enclosed garden with a fire pit (subject to weather), table and chairs. There is a fridge, toaster and kettle, and tea, coffee and snacks left in the kitchen.

Kate and Carl welcome you to Spring Cottage, a comfortable, ground-floor studio with en-suite facilities built in 2017. It's an ideal base for a short break visiting the Cotswolds, Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Silverstone and Stratford-upon-Avon, or relaxing after a day's shopping in Bicester Village. The cottage is located on our smallholding at the edge of the picturesque village of Steeple Aston. We are also very popular with people who need a comfortable base while working away from home.

The Cabin

A rustic, secluded self contained Cabin beside a lake, set in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Take yourself back to nature and enjoy far reaching views in this peaceful off-grid setting. Enjoy stargazing around the fire pit and snuggle down in front of the log burner. We're veggies here so we ask that no meat is cooked on the premises, this includes inside the cabin itself as well as in the South Barn space. There is a good outdoor bbq for meat lovers though! It is completely on its own with totally private use of all the space you can just relax and forget about the world during your stay. The Shepards hut is a cosy space with views of of our beautiful horses to the front and a lovely nature pond to the left.

They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake.
