Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. ‘the float shed’ is a unique, suitable for adults only, absolute waterfront, floating, fully self contained modern studio apartment, relax and watch the wildlife swim past. Situated 10mins from the city of Hobart, Salamanca Place and Mt Wellington. 2-5mins to bakeries, shops, food, laundromat, fuel & bottle shop. Less than 1 min walk to great food at the BrewLab. A great base to explore, 10mins drive to the famous Mona, 25mins to the Historic town of Richmond and the Coal River wine trail.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Studio

Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Camp Rising ~ Cygnet, Tasmania

Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Rosendale Stables

Reconstructed sandstone barn set on working asparagus farm offers comfort and seclusion. Features expansive glass areas and generous verandah/pergola. The garden features English trees planted in colonial settlement days circa 1807 to 1850. Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park. On farm produce available in season in an area of growing culinary endeavour.
