Inside, we’ve created a space that truly feels like home, complete with amenities you need- like our coffee nook, stocked for our fellow coffee&tea lovers.

The Roost

Enjoy The Roost hilltop w/room to sleep up to 22 people (7 bedrooms, 1 common space with 11 beds, 1 Q Murphy, & 1 Q sleeper sofa) 3.5 baths, 2 living-rooms, full open kitchen upstairs, guest kitchenette downstairs, 5 smart TVs, walk out basement patio, covered deck, firepit, grill, and charming restaurant just down the road. After a hard rain, hear the waterfall in the woods, see migrating waterfowl, enjoy breathtaking sunsets, & marvel at the bright stars! Relish its country charm and privacy.

Welcome to Red Country Retreat, a peaceful escape tucked into the corner of our shop, right at the edge of the woods! Wakeup to cows grazing in the pasture, chickens happily cackling in the distance and the kind of quiet you can only find in the country. Inside, enjoy warm cabin vibes with rustic charm and a cozy electric fireplace-the perfect place to slow down and unwind! Whether your looking for a weekend reset or a country getaway, Red Country Retreat offers simple living at its finest!

D&B Cabin Rentals Cabin #4

Doug and Becky We offer cabins off of 69 highway in Pleasanton, KS, near 2 lakes! We offer nightly, weekly, and monthly rentals. Each cabin is approx 250 Sq ft. Includes TV, Satellite TV, Gigabit Internet, full bath, kitchenette, grill including propane and utensils, (upon request), and a Porch with chairs and table. Community fire pit and picnic tables available. We have both a coffee maker that uses a filter and grounds, and a Keurig for your K-cups. Bring your favorite coffee! Pet Friendly!

Our newly remodeled century farmhouse is conveniently located just 1 mile outside Appleton City. You can experience the country but are still close to town. We have bedrooms upstairs so the kids can have their own space. We have basketball and other outdoor sports for kids. Wifi is available. We are close to the ballfield, tennis court and swimming pool. There is plenty of parking space. We also have a small firepit available. Plenty of room to sit and relax outside and enjoy the country.

The Carriage House, Suites 1 & 2

Escape to the countryside and unwind in our peaceful apartments overlooking the lake. Just a short drive from town, this cozy retreat is perfect for anyone seeking quiet relaxation and fresh air. Enjoy your coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise and wildlife on the water. In the evenings, relax by the fire or stroll down to the lake for a sunset view you’ll never forget. Conveniently located within walking (or kayaking!) distance of Lakeview Barn venue and Rustic Duck Restaurant.

The Lone Oak

Reconnect with nature at The Lone Oak, part of our working cattle ranch. Enjoy the quiet of the country while you go fishing in the pond, spotting the wildlife, and stargazing at night from the hot tub. Just five miles from town, right off the blacktop, and three miles from Interstate 49. The top level is a 1900 farmhouse that has been renovated and could have another group staying in it. The walk-out basement is two years old and ready for you to have a relaxing, memorable get-away.
