Die Vrugtekamer can accommodate 2 guests and features a bedroom, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen with an indoor fire place. Additionally the cottage features an outdoor braai and a covered patio. The property also offers a nature trail that leads to a stunning view of the landscape. For added convenience, there is a solar power system.

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

If you do not want to experience the old fashioned charm of the B&B this fully equipped self-catering unit is just for you (not part of the main house). The garden cottage is a fully equipped self-catering unit that has 2 separate bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room, kitchenette & bathroom with shower. Ymansdam is situated next to the Tankwa Karoo National Park at the foot of the Roggeveld Mountain, about an hour's drive from Calvinia on the R355.
