One of our 2 boutique, self-contained rooms set in the grounds of a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Ashdon village, 10 mins away from Saffron Walden and 30 mins from Cambridge. Lots of lovely local walks. Easy access to the A14 & A1 and perfect location for exploring local villages.

Charming refurbished Victorian cottage in a tranquil riverside setting with a private garden bordered by the River Cam/Granta on the old mill run at Whittlesford Mill. It is 6 miles from Cambridge, Duxford IWM is 2 miles away and there is a mainline station - Cambridge (10 minutes), London Liverpool Street (1 hour). The village has a gastro pub called The Tickell Arms, a restaurant called Provenance and The Red Lion. Saffron Walden is 8 miles away where Audley End House can also be found.

This small space sleeps 2 on a small double fold up bed/sofa to utilise the space we have, the room has its own shower/toilet facilities in the corner of the room, tea/coffee, kettle, towels, shampoo. Lots of walks and close to Denver sluice, Denver windmill, pub, shop and Downham market’s amenities. Pet friendly, large garden shared with us. Access via the garden gate and key safe.
