Conveniently located for exploring Cambridge and surrounding area, with free parking onsite, a frequent bus or an easy cycle to the city centre, and several excellent cafés, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bicycles are available free of charge. Every stay with us helps to fund the much-needed restoration of our Grade-II listed cottage. Thank you!

Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

Santina is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! Positioned in a field behind our farmhouse, the shepherd hut is surrounded by farm land. Guests can enjoy relaxing in the hot tub (** see 'details to note' re cost) or star gazing by the fire pit under skies that are not interrupted by streetlamps before retiring to the cosiness of the hut which is heated by a log burner. Lots of lovely local walks. Easy access to the A14 & A1 and perfect location for exploring local villages.

Rural Lakeside Shepherd's Hut '7' in Yarwell

If you are looking for a peaceful staycation with stunning views, countryside walks on the doorstep and ample local tourist attractions then look no further! We have two beautiful lakeside shepherds huts at Berryfields. Hut 7 includes double bed accommodation, kitchenette, shower room and indoor/outdoor seating areas. Berryfields is located in the pretty the Northamptonshire village of Yarwell. There are excellent road links to A1(M), A43 and A47 to Peterborough.

The Heron

Escape to The Heron, a cosy shepherd hut nestled in the countryside. Inside enjoy a comfy double bed, pull down bunk beds for the younger guests, kitchen and private bathroom with shower, fitted with underfloor heating. Outside, relax in your private hot tub or enjoy the communal fire pit, bbq area and pool table. Perfect for toasting marshmallows or enjoying a relaxed evening under the stars. Surrounded by scenic walking trails and nature, it's the perfect escape.

Nestled in a 2 acre meadow, our 3 beautiful shepherds huts feature en-suites, underfloor heating and we’ve kitted them out with all the home-from-home comforts. After a long walk along the water, take a drive to the local farm shop and butcher to get some delicious food for your BBQ before snuggling up under the clear skies with your blazing firepit. Or why not indulge yourself and take a dip in your private wood fired hot tub to keep you really toasty.

Willowfen Retreat is a single Luxury Shepherds Hut which is accessed by its own private gravel track. It sits in its own (dog/pet friendly) fenced garden away from the owners own property. Inside there is a kitchen and ensuite shower room. It is a very peaceful setting ideal location for exploring The Fens, The Wash and The Broads. Complementary basket of milk, bread, butter, jam, free range eggs etc is supplied to help you settle in.
