The property, with a jacuzzi & pool, has wrap porches nestled in the forest. A public boat ramp is 1 mile from our private dock. Bring your boat or use our kayaks and enjoy the river with family, friends, and your dogs. Plan sunrise coffee on our expansive porch swing or a stunning sunset with a glass of wine by the fire pit! Enjoy beautiful sunsets from a great garden apartment overlooking the deep water of the North River. Two hundred year old live oaks greet you as you enter the neighborhood and arrive at this grand low country tabby home. Visit nearby historic downtown St. Marys, catch the ferry and spend a day on Cumberland Island, go hiking or biking ( bikes provided) in local area parks, enjoy golf at three beautiful nearby courses. Dock your boat at our 36' floating dock with easy access to the big water.

The Stone Cottage

Relaxing coastal space with views and access to the Crooked River. Our fully renovated cottage was once a local market that serviced the Harriett’s Bluff community in the 1950s-1960’s. You will find small accents throughout the house that give tribute to it’s past. Plenty of fenced in parking to bring your boat or jet ski’s. The Harrietts Bluff public deep water dock is just a one minute walk from the house. Convenient to Jacksonville, Amelia Island, St. Marys, Jekyll Island and Brunswick.

At the river you can relax, watch nature or read a book. We are a quick drive to great fishing.

House is close to the Florida and Georgia just minutes from Jacksonville, Hilliard, Folkston, Brunswick, Jekyll Island, St Simons Island, St Marys, and Cumberland Island. The river runs between Florida and Georgia just a swim or paddle boat away. Boat ramps are in the area like Temple Landing and Kings Ferry just minutes away. Warp around porch over looking the River. Downstairs entertainment area offers shade.

Serene location Close to Crooked River State Park (5 minutes to public boat ramp) and 15 minutes to Historic St Mary's and Cumberland Island access. GPS DIRECTIONS UNRELIABLE- Hwy 40 toward Crooked River, left on Mush Bluff Rd, left on Live oak Lane, go around curve and continue straight up Cadie Lane (Gravel Drive), take the right at the fork to The Shed.

This exquisite Two Story, 6 Bedroom/4 Bathroom beach front cottage features spacious living areas, large inground heated pool and a beautifully landscaped yard. This is the largest oceanfront rental cottage with pool on Jekyll Island. From 5/10 - 8/16 ("season") we require a Saturday - Saturday stay. NO PETS & NO SMOKING.
