After your lake day, retreat to this cozy bungalow on a wooded lot. Grill-out and enjoy the outdoor eating area, sit by the fire or chill on the deck overlooking the lake. Close to boat ramps and marinas who offer gas dock, boat rentals and restaurants.

You’ll see bison grazing by the house, chickens roaming, and hear the occasional MOOOOOO of a cow. Stargazing and bird watching are excellent activities, but you can also fish, play frisbee, darts, cornhole, explore walking trails...

Back deck has small table & seating w/ a 6 seater hot tub! Minutes from the famous Kowaliga restaurant & Russell Crossroads (market, diner, horseback riding, etc) yet still secluded! Dogs welcome for a $75 pet fee per stay! Cats are NOT allowed due to allergy issues. $500 fine for parties or smoking.

Relax on the covered porch & fire pit or fish on the banks of the creek or enjoy a day of adventure on a kayak or boat which can be kept at the shared dock. (Shared with other tiny cabin)

Enjoy the stress free atmosphere while you sit on the porch and listen to the creek, sounds of nature and watch for Bald Eagles or Osprey fishing in the slough.

It is located in a safe and quiet area with a rural feel but it is convenient to almost anything you want to do in the Opelika/Auburn and surrounding areas.

This little cabin was a labor of love for our family. It’s a mix of new remodel and old cabin authenticity. It’s a coat of many colors and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My brother and I decided to take on a project together and with the help of our beloved spouses we took this little diamond in the rough to its current prime. We have plans to continue the vision and make more space, but for now, we’re ready to share our accomplishment with you.

A Partridge in a Peartree - welcome to Waverly, AL! Our sweet little guest house is nestled right between Auburn University and Lake Martin. A quick 15 minute trip & you can find yourself in downtown Auburn, Opelika, or the Standard Deluxe in Waverly. We are also only a 3 minute drive to the beautiful wedding venue, Legacy at Serenity Farms. The guest house is located separately from a private-residence house with your own space to relax and unwind.
