Welcome to our super cute, off-grid A-frame! We hope your stay at The Black Bear is filled with as much laughter and relaxation as we have when we stay here. We have created a joyfully unique retreat for you to enjoy. And who doesn't LOVE an A-frame, right? Our cute getaway is powered completely by the sun and it has all of the modern amenities you'd expect including Starlink wifi! There is also a whole-home generator for back-up power if needed. Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay.
