Relax in this lovingly restored stone built country cottage, to be found at the end of a,resident only, tarmaced tow path. Situated on its own private island, alongside the Chesterfield canal, beside a working lock. The front faces the lock with its comings and goings of canal boats., all with a friendly crew and a story to tell of their journey. A few private moorings too. Dolly’s Stable 2 Leger lakes

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. The stables have one bedroom and the lounge area has a double sofa bed. Air conditioned There are three stables adjoining so also great for going with friends or family. Leger lakes is a small family run business, three small fishing lakes. The Ruby lake has five camping pods. We have tearoom on site with 5 star hygiene rating. The tearoom is also licensed, Laughton is a small village and has beautiful walks and places of interest.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs.
