Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Historic Wykoff Jail Haus

Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The Jail Haus was built the late 1800’s and is owned by the city of Wykoff. Bike trails, trout fishing, Forestville State park, and cave exploration. There is kayaking and tubing 10 minutes away. Open over the winter months for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and other winter activities. Playgrounds, restaurants, convenience / gas station all within walking distance. Located 40 miles south of Rochester in a town of 450 people.

Peaceful retreat down gravel driveway 15 min from Mayo Clinic. Enjoy your own apartment with private backyard walkout entrance to the lower level of our home. You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. You may hear piano music weekday afternoons, since I give lessons (usually 3-6 pm; a bit earlier in summer) NEW HEATED FLOORS w/thermostat

Natural deep woods within a gully between fields, you’ll find this spot a wonderful sanctuary for wildlife. Follow the few scattered deer trails on the property and explore this natural place.

Sweet Retreat in Lanesboro~

River's Retreat is our bright and sunny 2 bed/1 bath apartment in the heart of Lanesboro, with the bike trail, canoe & tube rental, shops and dining right outside your door. This is the upper floor of a duplex, one of the original houses in Lanesboro. It is newly renovated, preserving the old character, but with an eclectic vibe, original art, soft bedding and all the amenities to make you feel right at home. We also have a bike storage shed and charging station for your EV or bike.

Knotty Pine Cabin #3 | Lanesboro

Cabin 3 is a charming one-room cabin, with a double bed and reading nook, with a table and two comfy chairs. Its warm knotty pine interior is complemented by vintage green and cream floor tiles, lace curtains, and old-fashioned windows that open for fresh air and cross breezes. In addition, there is AC, heat and a portable fan. It has a *small* private bathroom, in-room fridge, coffee maker, and electric kettle. The WiFi is excellent, and we also have locked bike storage.

High Court Loft-the Judge's Chamber

High Court Loft is on the 3rd floor above High Court Pub on Lanesboro's historic Main Street. The large open space features a wall bed, kitchen w/1 pot induction stovetop, convection toasteroven, coffeemaker, fridge & microwave. The Loft is great for lounging or entertaining small groups. Large original windows open to a wonderful view of the lively downtown. In addition to the bed there is a queen deluxe airbed. Pets not allowed.

Two story apartment, spacious!

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. This is a furnished apartment in a renovated church. One bedroom with a queen bed and large walk in closet on the lower level. A stairway takes you to an upper loft with three twin beds. Pack n play available and high chair too. Pets are welcome. Located a very short walk to Sylvan Park which has a wonderful playground. Plenty of counter space for a gathering.
