Amazing location looking over the Knockanes and Mullagh Mór mountains. Ideal location for walkers, hikers and cyclists. Suitable for children of all ages. The Blue Yard

Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.
