Unique Rustic Adirondack Cabin

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The home is in the Adirondack Park near Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Lake Placid, and Keene Valley, with endless opportunities for outdoor exploration & adventure year-round. Guests have access to hiking and x-country ski trails, river swimming and fishing points, and tennis courts. Enjoy the sauna, shuffleboard, record players, karaoke machine, wood stove, and fire pit at the cabin.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.
