This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Our home is nestled on 18 acres of idyllic countryside, which not only boasts access to a private lake with runner boards you can fish from but its green fields roll down to the banks of the Shannon River Navigation. By DAY you can take a stroll, watch calves frolic, swans busy with their signets, darting dragonflies and watch as the cruisers sail past. By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

It is a perfect place to stay when exploring tourist attractions in the Midlands or going to a wedding in one of Cavans hotels or just for a quiet break The self contained apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials needed for a self-catering break The hosts are happy to answer any questions about the apartment or the local area. The Nest is a spacious one bedroom apartment nestled in the Cavan countryside. Lovely quiet location, just off the N3 between Belturbet & Teemore, not far from The Slieve Russell, Hotel Kilmore, Cavan Crystal and Farnham Estate. Nearby attractions a short drive away include The Marble Arch Caves, Cuilcagh Boardwalk, Killykeen Forest Park, Erica’s Fairy Forest, Cavan Adventure Centre, Florence Court House, Drumlane Abbey, Castle Saunderson, Lough Oughter and fishing spots to name but a few.

Country Lodge

Flat has separate entrance on ground floor with private garden area with swings/slide/bench and parking. Dining area/living room, sitting room including TV and small kitchen with electric cooker, all kitchen utensils. Bathroom/shower/laundry off kitchen. One double Sofa Bed downstairs in sitting room and upstairs has a double room en-suite electric shower/toilet/wash basin and another bedroom next door with 2 single beds. Solid fuel fire in living area and storage heating throughout.

If your looking for a quiet getaway or you want to come as a family or group of friends you could book the Cottage & Studio. The Cottage sleeps 5 people. It can be booked separately on airbnb. Situated in Potahee less than 5 minutes from Ballinagh town and 12 minutes from Cavan. A perfect retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life
