There is some ambient noise from the creek below (a beaver partially dammed it creating a fall) and the highway above.

Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.
