The Homestead, Town Farm

The Homestead is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive

The Little Barn is a converted , self contained barn in a village location. You have your privacy but I am next door to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious, yet homely and quiet and near to two lovely pubs and coffee shop/plant nursery with fab food and a little post office/shop. There are many walks from the house and the A1M/A505 is minutes away for those travelling north, south or to Cambridge. ONLY MINI DOGS BY REQUEST BEFORE BOOKING! Just 100 metres from the Old George and Dragon, the COCK does not provide food at the moment, but a great atmosphere. However, 5 minutes drive away is the SUN at Felmersham which does good food. Several places in Bedford deliver takeaways. Ideal for walkers on the John Bunyan Trail.
