Enjoy a peaceful cabin getaway on Apple Lake, 5 minutes from Highlands, NC. Highlands is a charming mountain town with great restaurants, spa, theater, music concerts, and shopping. Our cabin is very open with high ceilings, a huge wood burning fire place, two bedrooms downstairs, and two upstairs in an open loft. Minutes from scenic waterfalls, and hiking trails. Enjoy relaxing on the porch, cooking, fishing, and kayaking on the lake. Wonderful for family/friend vacations or a romantic getaway!

Mountain Cabin w/ Hot Tub + Pvt. Deck

*** Due to urgent dam repairs, the lake will be drained and not usable from June 15, 2026 through May 2027.*** An adventurous holiday at this phenomenal charming rustic custom-built cabin in a private, gated community! This outdoorsy getaway is close to many outdoor opportunities like hiking and biking trails and fly fishing. There is also a fire pit, fireplace, hot tub, and deck! When you're not soaking up the sun curl up on the hammock and relish the peace and quiet of this secluded property.

Secluded Waterfall Cabin.

Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Waterfall Views, Lake Hartwell, Highland Architect

Come and enjoy nature with 100+ acres to roam. Architect James Fox designed this cantilevered cliffside home overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Nestled between the mountain forest and a secluded pasture, filled with friendly donkeys, horses and miniature Highland cows, Blackberry House is the ideal place to connect with nature and loved ones. The spacious and well equipped, three-story cabin is perfect for families or large friend groups to make memories together. After exploring the streams and trails or visiting the animals, relax on one of the swings on the wrap-around porch or toast marshmallows around the fire pit.

Welcome to Lizard Lodge. Relax in this quaint lake cabin with a mountain home vibe nestled in Northern Seneca on Lake Keowee. Enjoy the serenity of a beautifully modern 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath vacation cabin in a quiet gated cul-de-sac with scenic surroundings. On early mornings you can spot wildlife including deer and wild turkeys. Excellent location on the lake a few hundred feet away from a boat ramp. Come to relax, have fun on the lake or even enjoy a romantic escape.
