Take a break in this unique, small-town-Alaska setting, and make memories. Forget-Me-Not cottage is a cozy, re-modeled home with 5 beds: sleep up to 7 people. The kitchen is furnished with a fridge/freezer (w/ice maker) and a gas oven/range. You’ll find dinnerware, cooking and kitchen supplies, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and fryer. Books and games are tucked into the living room along with the TV/DVD player. The Hot Springs bath across the street awaits when you're ready for a soak.

Watch Humpback and Orca whales ,sea lions, porpoises ,eagles , and seals while you eat dinner in the dining room or on the outdoor deck while BBQ ing fresh seafood .Hike in the Tongass National Forest or kayak on the calm waters of Tenakee inlet. At the end of the day it’s a short walk to the Public natural Hot springs . Fishing opportunities on the local docks include casting for salmon and halibut . arrive by ferry or floatplane , Quiet peaceful family oriented community vibe

Heen Shu Hit, House on the Water

100 year old house the oldest house in Hoonah used to be water front until it was dredged up now in the front is the kids park and the marina. The house recently remodeled wood from the local saw mill. Cozy and spacious retreat house with lots of beds, a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Views of the marina and the mountains. Perfect retreat from the city. Walking distance to town across the street from the school.
